Shizuoka has great weather. Sprawling Shizuoka prefecture is known for many fantastic sightseeing spots, like the vast Nakatajima Sand Dunes; Lake Hamana, famous for eel; Mt. Fuji, a World Heritage Site; and Atami and Izu, with their hot springs!
